LaSalle Bristol Corporation is recruiting for an outside Sales Representative to be a team member of the company's local branch. The successful candidate will have responsibility for building materials sales and account management in the west coast region of Oregon between Portland and Eugene, OR.

LaSalle Bristol is a leading national wholesale distributor based out of Elkhart, Indiana serving the Recreation Vehicle and Factory Built Housing industries. With 1.1 million square feet of warehouse space, we are able to effectively serve our markets by maintaining a large national footprint with 14 facilities strategically located in close proximity to our customers. LSB is uniquely capable of providing just-in-time inventory to our OEM customers, as we are not “just” a distributor. We manufacture plumbing, air-systems, and decorative products in our US manufacturing plants, supplementing our offering with worldwide manufacturing of our brands made to our stringent specifications. The successful applicant will be responsible for representing the Company to deliver sales and provide account management with our current customer base, including:

Essential Duties:

  • Manage a designated territory to service customers including product availability support, cycle counts of specific products, and general sales functions.
  • Grow and develop relationships and customer loyalty to increase market share.
  • Work with customers and potential customers to provide solutions to their production needs of building homes and recreational vehicles.
  • Work closely with LaSalle Bristol’s customer service representative, warehouse manager, and product managers in strong team environment to provide a high standard of quality of service to our customers.

Compensation:

Includes salary, commissions, company vehicle, company cell phone.

Qualifications - the ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Three years of experience in sales, prefer home building products related but not necessary.
  • Understanding of home building products, plumbing, HVAC components, or related products would be a plus.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office including Outlook email, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret professional reports including internal sales and usage reports, product information, and customer quotes.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from external and internal customers.
  • Must be able to travel throughout the territory, no overnight travel required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Strong references from former employers and colleagues.
